Is Grimes Pregnant With Elon Musk’s Baby? See Cryptic Post Fueling Speculation
Canadian singer Grimes seemingly announced that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Elon Musk, by sharing a cryptic new photo on Wednesday, January 8. The performer posted a topless portrait of herself, which showed a child growing inside her belly.
The 31-year-old shared a few more details in the comments, even describing herself as “knocked up” while responding to one fan. When they addressed their love for her nude portrait, she talked about her decision to share it on Instagram.
“I thought about censoring [my breasts] for a hot minute haha (this may get taken down anyway) but the photo is so much less feral without the nipples,” the Indie artist replied. “Plus being knocked up is a very feral and war-like state of being.”
The “Oblivion” songstress added, “Might as well be what it is. Plus most of my friends told me not to post them so then I was afflicted w reverse psychology. Interrogated my shame and decided it was sum weird internalized self hated to feel uncomfortable about my body. Hope ur having a nice day.”
Grimes has been romantically linked to the CTO of SpaceX, 48, since May 2018 and fans are excited to hear they may be having a child together. Elon previously welcomed five children with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. Sadly, their first child passed away due to sudden infant death syndrome.
Nowadays, Elon appears to be smitten with his leading lady — whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher. The couple went public with their blossoming romance by walking the red carpet together at the star-studded 2018 Met Gala.
On her latest post, Grimes also shut down rumors she’s using the Tesla product architect for his money. “Omg queen of securing Elon’s coin forreal 😍💯🙏 #businesswoman,” the comment read, leading the songwriter to clear the air.
“I don’t need [money] from a man, Grimes is self funded,” she wrote.
The couple previously spoke out about their affections for each other in a profile with WSJ Magazine.
Grimes called her beau a “super-interesting person,” and said that she loves him. Elon also revealed that he adores her “wild fae artistic creativity and hyper intense work ethic.”
