Shut down! Model Karlie Kloss put an end to pregnancy rumors by divulging that she just loves french fries. She posted a loved up photo of her and her husband, Joshua Kushner, dancing the night away during their Wyoming wedding, which just happened over the June 22 weekend. However, some people chose to focus on the starlet’s body, instead of her newlywed glow.
“Lean on me,” the 26-year-old captioned the sweet photo on Tuesday, June 25, of her cupping her 34-year-old hubby’s face while he stood on crutches. A slew of comments came in asking if the former Victoria’s Secret angel was pregnant. “Not pregnant just love,” the model cheekily responded with a french fry emoji.
Fans rallied to defend the starlet against slam body-shamers. “Let a girl have a non-flat tummy every once in a while,” one person wrote. “Can y’all stop with the pregnancy questions, y’all rude as f—k,” someone else added. Another user begged, “I wish people would mind their own uterus. Her reproductive status is not your business. Anyways, love you Karlie!”
The couple first tied the knot back in October with a Jewish ceremony in upstate New York. Their latest celebration was much larger and attended by a plethora of their A-list friends, including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. It’s safe to say that the blonde beauty is thrilled with this new chapter in her life. “I love being married,” she gushed exclusively to Life & Style in January. “It’s honestly … I just feel really happy. It’s so nice to just have a home base. I can’t explain it. Nothing’s really changed, but yeah. In all the best ways it feels different. I love it.”
Besides being a successful model, Karlie is also the host of Project Runway and an entrepreneur. How does she juggle all of it? She figures it out as she goes along but is happy to have a supportive man by her side. “I think that for me … every woman figuring out how to continue to grow my career and balance my personal and professional life,” she explained. “I feel really grateful that I have a partner, my husband, who’s an incredible support to me and wants to help me accomplish my dreams no matter what they are.”
