Jake Paul Teases New Song About Ex Alissa Violet Amid Faze Banks Scandal: ‘What I Never Got to Say’
Blast from the past. Jake Paul announced that he will be dropping a nostalgic new song about his ex Alissa Violet called “These Days” on December 13. While taking to Instagram with a throwback photo of them on Tuesday, December 3, the YouTube star said that he is looking forward to revealing what he “never got to say” in the wake of their split.
Several fans were reacting to the surprising news in the comments. “History to be made,” one wrote. “I’M SHOOOK,” another added. “Decent timing,” a third replied, seemingly referencing the ongoing drama involving Alissa and her other former flame, Faze Banks (real name Ricky Banks).
Alissa, 23, dropped a major bombshell about her split from Faze only five months after they parted ways, claiming that she caught him with another woman when they were together. The turmoil started when she responded to a fan question via Twitter during the early hours of December 2, reading, “How did you find out you were being cheated on?”
“I was asleep upstairs with our dogs and he wasn’t next to me so I checked our guest house and caught him naked in bed with a random girl,” Alissa wrote, later clarifying that she allegedly discovered them in the “guest wing of the house.”
After she accused Faze, 27, of acting shady and breaking eight of her phones over the course of their relationship, he took to Twitter with a statement of his own, addressing how there’s two sides to every story.
“Alissa and I had been having issues and I did something really stupid and hurtful,” he wrote. “There’s additional context and it’s not as simple as who’s right and who’s wrong. It doesn’t even matter at this point, what matters is that we’re both humans and we’ve both definitely hurt each other.”
The vlogger previously dated Jake, 22, from 2016 to 2017, however he has since moved on with his now-wife, Tana Mongeau. In October, Tana took to Instagram to confirm they are still going strong, despite rumors otherwise.
“Jana is thriving,” Jake texted his leading lady in the screengrab she posted. “Alert the fan accounts.”
