Jake Paul Says His Relationship With Tana Mongeau Is ‘Thriving’: ‘Alert the Fan Accounts’
Going strong! Tana Mongeau took to social media over the weekend to put a damper on any doubts that she and “husband” Jake Paul are no longer together. “Jana is thriving,” Jake, 22, texted his ladylove. “Alert the fan accounts.”
In addition to Tana, 21, sharing a personal message from her man, the pair was also spotted — wait for it — shopping at Target on Saturday, October 5. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, influencers are regular people, too.
Well, sort of, anyway … according to Tana, it was Jake’s first experience buying food for himself. “I just convinced Jake to grocery shop with me tonight haha. On God, I don’t think he’s ever set foot in a grocery store to buy groceries. OMG, why am I excited?” Tana tweeted ahead of the couple’s excursion.
“Update: Grocery shopping with Jake WAS UNREAL haha,” the MTV reality star wrote hours later. “I just kept repeating ‘carrots and hummus’ and, like, 18 Target workers and people were following us with cameras, like, Jake walked in and every worker wanted to kick him out. I’m never bringing him to Target again.”
Thankfully, the pair stocked up on plenty of, er, interesting goodies while they were there. “Shopping for clout, strawberry lube, pregnancy tests and hummus,” Jake captioned a photo of the lovebirds hitting the aisles at target. “Shopping for love, blueberry lube, Plan B and carrots,” Tana commented.
Talk about true romance, huh? Of course, fans had plenty of things to say about Jana’s experiment with domesticity. “Couple goals!” one user gushed. “OMG. I can’t with y’all,” added another. “Iconic,” a third person chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “Wow shopping at Target?! So humble of you guys.”
To be honest, that last comment was likely sarcastic, but hey! Jake and Tana are never afraid of a little controversy, that’s for sure. Speaking of which, Jake recently cleared up any speculation that he was being unfaithful to Tana. Basically, fellow YouTuber Nikita Dragun called out the former Nickelodeon actor for cheating on his wifey, but Jake wasn’t having it.
“Even since the start of the relationship — which is why I think it’s funny that, like, Nikita gets all butt hurt online — since the start of our relationship it’s been, like, an open type of thing because that’s just how we both are,” he told ET Live during a September 16 interview.
So, to reiterate, Jana is thriving AND in an open relationship. Keep living your best lives, you two.
