Katie Holmes Didn’t Try to Hide Her Affection for Jamie Foxx on His Birthday!
We don’t see Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes confirming their four-year-long relationship anytime soon, but at least they’re not trying to hide it anymore! The duo celebrated the actor turning 50 in LA on Wednesday, Dec. 13, arriving at his b-day bash together.
“They mostly mingled with other guests, and spent very little alone time,” a source told People magazine. “It was obvious that Jamie had a great birthday. Katie looked like she had fun as well. She looked gorgeous.”
Though the mother-of-one was not present at an earlier event held in the Oscar winner’s honor — and attended by his daughters, Corinne and Annalise — she allegedly picked him up from the soiree. Jamie later took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday love. “shoutout to all my sagittarius!!! Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!! Lets go!” he wrote next to a video message.
The notoriously private couple sort of made their public debut on Dec. 4 at the launch party for Privé Revaux Eyewear’s Flagship store in NYC. Though they didn’t take any photos together, it was clear Katie attended to support her beau, who serves as a celebrity ambassador for the brand.
As Life & Style exclusively reported, the pair may already be engaged. “Jamie recently sat down with his closest friends and told them that he plans to marry Katie and have a baby with her,” an insider shared. Another source claimed he secretly proposed to the Dawson’s Creek star in February. “Katie has even worn the ring in front of friends,” the source noted, “but she’s always denied that it was an engagement ring.”
Added the source, “This is a dream come true for Katie. For years, she has wanted Jamie to be her husband and has wanted to give her daughter, Suri, a brother or sister — and now Jamie’s ready to give that all to her. Now she feels like all their time spent hiding was well worth it.”
