Jamie Foxx was unfortunately the target of a racist attack over the weekend while on location in Croatia.

According to the Associated Press, a couple of men called the Oscar winner the N-word as well as “Motherf–ker” while at a restaurant in the city of Dubrovnik. Police reportedly responded to reports of “particularly arrogant and rude” insults, including one “on racial grounds.” Disorderly conduct charges were allegedly filed against the perpetrators.

Jamie also posted about the upsetting encounter on his Instagram story, reportedly saying in a video that has since been deleted, “They drunk up in this b—h… I came to the table and they assaulted us.”

But the father-of-two hasn’t let the incident taint his view of the country. On Tuesday, Feb. 22, the 49-year-old gushed about how much he loved the beautiful scenery. “This is blowing my mind a little,” he shared. “I’m all the way from Terrell, TX. Don’t tell me your dreams can’t come true.”

The Ray star made headlines last month for getting into a fight at Hollywood hotspot Catch. TMZ reported that he was at a table with friends when another diner approached the group and asked them to quiet down.

The man allegedly lunged at Jamie, who promptly put the aggressor in a chokehold before being asked to leave. The actor gave his side of the story later, telling fans on social media, "Word is out, man. S–t, I know you heard about this s–t man and saw some videos,” he said. “Everybody is good. Listen, 2017, we don't want no violence. We don't want to get hurt… If you wanna see me whoop some ass, you know what you can do."

Jamie is currently in Europe filming his new movie Robin Hood: Origins alongside Jamie Dornan and Taron Egerton.
