Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner from ‘Married at First Sight’ Are Officially Trying for Another Baby!
Is another baby on the way for a fan-favorite Married at First Sight couple? God willing! Jamie Otis revealed on Instagram that she and her husband Doug Hehner are officially trying to add another member to their little family. "We're finally working on makin' Gracie a little sibling to play with," the reality star added. We're so excited!
"Officially trying for baby number two," the reality star shared on Instagram on April 26. But that's not all the 31 year old — who famously married her 34-year-old husband Doug on the first season of Married at First Sight — decided to share with her followers. Jamie, who is already mommy to 8-month-old Henley Grace, used the opportunity to launch into the intimacy issues she's been having since the arrival of her first child.
"This is TMI but it hurt so bad that it wasn't even physically possible to do it," Jamie shared on social media. Luckily, her sex life has recently improved, and she's ready to put it to good use. "But we have finally been able to be intimate!!! (sic) It's only taken 8 months for it to stop hurting. (This is the kinda stuff no one talks about so I had no idea how bad it'd be," she continued.
Jamie and Doug have been super open and vulnerable about their fertility issues ever since the first time they announced they were expecting. Days after the life-changing pregnancy announcement, the couple brought their fans devastating news: they experienced a miscarriage. Jamie was four months pregnant when she lost her first child nearly two years ago. "I just couldn't imagine ever being truly happy again," Jamie told People after the loss of her first child, a son she and Doug named Johnathan Edward.
"I still have my moments. Every month I'd take test after test. It was such a vicious cycle." She also added that she experienced "a deep depression" after the loss of Johnathan Edward. Keeping on par with her openness about her and Doug's fertility struggles and journey, Jamie announced to her followers that she's using the Ava ovulation tracking bracelet, which notifies the wearer of their most fertile days of each cycle. Now that Doug and Jamie have overcome their post-partum intimacy issues an dhave science on their side, there's sure to be a little sibling for Henley Grace on the way in no time!
