This year’s Oscars viral moment came from the most unlikely source: Jennifer Garner. The actress was at the 2018 Academy Awards to introduce the in memoriam portion of the show, but a meme of Jen coming to a “realization” has taken over social media — and we really want to know what she was thinking.
As expected, viewers came up with the best predictions as to what could have shaken the 13 Going on 30 star in her seat during the broadcast. “Probably realized she left the curling iron on,” one Twitter user wrote before another added, “That Michael Keaton was the best Batman.”

And the guesses kept on coming. From forgetting to take the chicken out of the freezer to realizing Diddy killed Biggie, fans had some fun with Jennifer’s mini existential crisis. “What exactly IS in my wallet?” another chimed in, paying homage to the mother-of-three’s Capital One tagline.
Before going viral, Jennifer was making headlines for her show-stopping royal blue Versace gown with fitted bodice and pleated skirt. Along with making the best-dressed list, fans called out Jennifer’s ex-husband Ben Affleck — who they assumed was regretting his decision to divorce the Hollywood beauty.
“DAMN does anyone else think Ben Affleck made a mistake?! Jennifer Garner looks AMAZING,” one viewer mused before another added, “Jennifer Garner was my best dressed of the night, rocking a shade I like to call Up-Yours-Ben-Affleck blue.”
However, Jennifer recently admitted that while Ben has moved on with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, she is not ready to start dating just yet. “I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids,” she said last year. “I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through. I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I am just like, ‘No thank you!'”
