Alex Rodriguez Confirms He’s Dating Jennifer Lopez: “We’re Having a Great Time”
It’s official — Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are dating!
The former baseball star opened up about his new lady while he guest co-hosted The View on Friday, March 31 and he positively gushed over her as he confirmed that they are in fact a couple! To celebrate going public with their relationship, the couple was spotted out together for a lunch date afterward.
“It’s obvious — we’ve been having a great time,” the 41-year-old told The View co-hosts. “She’s a New Yorker, she’s from the Bronx — and a big Yankee fan. But we’re having a great time, she’s an amazing, amazing girl — one of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met, and also an incredible mother.”

Joy Behar, Sunny Hoston, Sara Haines, and Jedediah Bila all pressed A-Rod for more details about J.Lo — particularly for facts that he’s learned about her since they started dating.
“Well, for one — she was a track star in high school and junior high, so she’s an awesome, awesome athlete,” the former New York Yankees star said abut the 47-year-old. “And she just likes simple things, she’s a very, very simple person — loves family, is a great sister, is a great daughter.”

He also dished that her weakness when it comes to indulgent food is chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate chip cookies — and he would know, because he’s been spotted out with the “Aint’ Your Mama” singer at various restaurants on dates.
Their most recent outing was to the high-end Italian food restaurant Marea in NYC. The new couple looked adorable in matching beige ensembles, and Alex seemed like a perfect gentleman as he held an umbrella for Jen as they walked from the restaurant to their car.
The A-list couple first sparked dating rumors last month when they were spotted out on a romantic vacation together to the Bahamas. They returned to Miami together — where they both have homes — and have been spotted on multiple outings together over the past month.
