J.Lo Dazzles at the Met Gala Alongside Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez
Her love don’t cost a thing, but this outfit sure does! Jennifer Lopez strutted her stuff at this year’s Met Gala, and as usual, slayed. The mom of two — who recently announced that she has a makeup collection in the works — slicked back her short locks and sported her signature glow while donning an ornate Balmain gown that nailed the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination theme perfectly. The superstar’s jewel-encrusted dress featured a prominent slit and a large blue, red, gold, and green cross on the front, while the bottom half was adorned with black feathers.
The World of Dance star topped off her look with dangerously high black stilettos and a chic clutch, but of course, she also had one very special accessory on her arm: boyfriend Alex Rodriguez! The pair have been smitten ever since getting together, but only made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at last year’s gala. That makes today extra special for them!
The couple have sparked plenty of engagement rumors over the past few months, especially after J.Lo released the music video for her track “Anillo,” which alludes to a woman wanting a ring on that finger. However, the athlete hasn’t popped the question just yet — though there’s a good chance a walk down the aisle will be in their future.
“I do believe in marriage, and I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship,” the singer told Harper’s BAZAAR. “But I’m not forcing anything right now.”
Though Jennifer has been married three times, she finally feels like she’s found Mr. Right. “I’m in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time – I don’t know – maybe ever,” she told Hola! USA. “And not that I didn’t have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I’ve been where I feel like we really make each other better. We complement each other, and there’s really pure, true love.” Talk about #CoupleGoals!
