Cabs are here! Well...not yet, but they will be soon enough! With Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 1 over and done with, it’s time to start thinking about when we’ll get to see our favorite GTL crew once more. Thankfully, MTV knows what’s up — they aren’t going to force fans to wait years for a comeback. In fact, Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2 starts sooner than you think. Keep scrolling for everything you need to know.
When does Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2 start?
Believe it or not, you’ll be able to "get crazy, get wild" with the familiar cast of characters next month! That’s right, MTV announced on June 28 that Jersey Shore Family Vacation will be returning to television screens in August 2018.
Where does Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2 take place?
Now, as far as location for Jersey Shore Family Vacation is concerned, that’s where things get tricky. As of now, the cast has been spotted in multiple locations from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, to Wildwood, NJ. Our best guess is that Season 2 will begin in Vegas and eventually, there will be some sort of "aw, nostalgia" moment and the cast will jet back to their alma mater.
That said, it has yet to be confirmed where in Jersey the actual filming is taking place. What we do know for sure, is that it won’t be in Seaside Heights. According to Cinema Blend, the borough flat out said no to the MTV filming permits. The town cited that they "don’t need the chaos," which, to be fair, makes sense —watch 20 minutes of Season 1 and you’ll understand why.
Which cast members will be on Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2?
Based on MTV’s promotion (as seen in the video above) Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Deena Cortese, Pauly "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Magro, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino will all be returning for Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2.
As far as whether Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola will be making an appearance on Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 2, well, anything’s possible!
Sammi hasn't commented either way, but the rest of the cast has hope she'll resurface for Family Vacation's second season. "I can almost bet on that," Pauly D told People. "For someone to say no to that this time and then all the media and everybody, all those comments… She must see them. She must want to do it. I gotta say, she must have to want to do the second one."
Jenni agreed. "For the simple fact that she will always be a part of us and she'll always be mentioned or brought up, at least capitalize on it," she advised her former co-star. "Speak your own truth. Come in, fight us on whatever, or love us, or, like, be around us. It's kinda s--t she's not taking the opportunity."
Of course, we can’t forget about the "dirty little hamster" everyone loves to hate — Angelina Pivarnick. According to The Blast, Angelina was spotted filming with the cast at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City.
