She Was One of the Rarest Roses … So, What Happened to Vinny Guadagnino’s ‘Jersey Shore’ Girlfriend, Ramona?
When he wasn’t hooking up with Snooki, he was smushing with Ramona! Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino had many conquests while filming the reality TV show over the years, but his season 2 girlfriend Ramona Nitu is one of his more memorable flings.
While filming the second season of JS in Miami in 2010, the Staten Island native spoke very highly of his puppy love romance with the model from Romania. At the time when the couple met at a nightclub in South Beach, Ramona was working at the club as a dancer.
They seemed to hit it off perfectly, but hardcore fans of the show will remember the stars never exactly aligned for Vin and Ramona. Despite Vinny’s deep feelings for the brunette beauty, she stood him up on one of their dates and offered no explanation whatsoever. Though they made amends before the season wrapped, that’s the last we ever saw of Ramona.
Now that Vinny and the rest of the gang are continuing their antics in the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reboot, many fans of the series are wondering whatever became of the infamous and mysterious Ramona. What does she look like now and what is she up to post-reality TV?
While not much is known about Ramona and her life nowadays (outside of the fact that she’s still as gorgeous as ever — not to mention, she’s completely perfected the art of the selfie), we do know she gave birth to her first child in 2014. “Not so easy being a new mommy … But … I love my little man,” she wrote in one caption. Her Facebook account is mostly private and she’s MIA on other social media outlets, including Twitter, where she has never posted on her account.
As for Vinny, the 32-year-old reality star-turned-comedian moved on with Elicea Shyann, but they split in 2018, shortly after the premiere of the spinoff series. In April 2019, he and pal Pauly D starred in a dating reality series, Double Shot at Love, where they attempted to find romance. Both he and his longtime friend, 39, ended season 1 without girlfriends — but season 2 might bring love to the table.
