Another day, another A-list breakup. This time, we’re sad to say that Jessie J and Channing Tatum have called it quits after just one year together.

“Channing Tatum and Jessie J broke up about a month ago,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, December 19. “They are still really close and still good friends.” Here’s hoping “really close” will lead to reigniting the flame! After all, things between the “Masterpiece” singer, 31, and Magic Mike actor, 39, got hot and heavy pretty fast.

“He’s totally consumed by this love affair and wants to be with Jessie 24/7. They’ll spend the whole day in bed together, oblivious that there’s a world out there,” a source previously told Life & Style. “He doesn’t have to hunt for work, so he may as well enjoy his time with the love of his life,” the insider added. “Channing is obsessed with Jessie and that’s all that seems to matter to him at the moment.”

Beyond just looking totally in love, Channing really included Jessie in his life, specifically when it came to his daughter, Everly. In July, the Step Up alum and “Party in the U.S.A.” writer took a family trip to London, where Jessie and Everly, whom Channing shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, had the best time together.

“Jessie played tour guide for Channing and Everly and they had a blast sightseeing all around London, visiting Hampton Court Palace, including the infamous maze,” a separate source told Life & Style at the time. “This isn’t their first get together either, Everly warmed up to Jessie almost immediately after meeting in L.A.”

“It’s a sign, not only that Jessie and Everly get along tremendously, but that Channing and Jessie are getting serious,” the insider noted. We’re not psychic or anything, but as mentioned, these two are meant to be together! Let’s pray they can make it work sometime in the future.
