John Cena Is ‘Really Into’ New Girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh: She’s ‘Great for Him’
Heating up? John Cena and his new girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh, attended a WWE Raw taping in Tampa, Florida, and were spotted looking enamored with each other backstage, according to Us Weekly. The two are seemingly going strong and an eyewitness dished that they have been enjoying their time getting to know each other.
“He was introducing people to her by name,” the source divulged about the Bumblee actor, 42, and brunette beauty at the July 22 event. “He had his arm around her and she was laughing. They looked like a really cute couple!” It sounds like the WWE star has found an amazing match for himself. A friend of the source confessed that John is “really into Shay” and “excited about their new relationship.” He loves that she’s “really smart and easygoing” and “great for him.”
John and Shay were first spotted holding hands in Vancouver, Canada, back in March. He and his longtime partner Nikki Bella split about year before that in April 2018 after six years together. However, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the exes. After photos surfaced of John and his new love interest, the Total Bellas star admitted that she “loved” seeing him live his life.
“I’m not just even saying that. I’ve been so happy for him because I think because of the decisions that I’ve made, you know, walking away and just needing to find myself because I felt like I lost it,” she told Us Weekly in May. “I literally would pray every day of, like, all I want him is to be happy and to find happiness — and it’s true. Like, he’s still so close to my family and all I ever want is for his happiness and he seems so happy now and that makes me really happy.”
Nikki is currently smitten over her boyfriend and former Dancing With the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev. The duo took their relationship public in March and are frequently seen packing on the PDA and hanging out around Los Angeles together.
