Though he gained fame on WWE, John ventured off into side quests in TV hosting and acting. During an appearance with Extra, the Massachusetts native looked snazzy as his untraditional long hair was slicked back and sleek.

John was the champion with crazy long hair at WrestleMania 41 in April.

That month, he chatted with Pat McAfee about how fans’ bullying antics about his bald spot led him to undergo a hair transplant.

“You chant and you make me feel small and you embarrass me. Y’all don’t know what that’s like. That is straight-up bullying. That’s just not cool. I don’t like it,” he said. “So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement. That’s how far y’all push me.”

2025

While John’s front of his head is thriving with hair, his back has less particles.

“I got a problem. I try to fix it. That’s what I’m doing,” the Ricky Stanicky star said during his interview with Pat McAfee. “And I’m not going to tell you who did it because I’m still waiting for it to get better. Once it gets better and I’ve got the long flowing locks, I’ll be like, ‘Yo, go to this guy.’ So I’m working on it. Work in progress, work in progress.”
