Beliebers, Rejoice! Justin Bieber Announces New Single With Dan + Shay: ‘Wedding Music’
As much as we’ve enjoyed all of the amazing posts from Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s dreamy South Carolina wedding, there’s nothing quite as exciting as a new music announcement! With that, the longtime pop star, 25, took to Instagram on Wednesday, October 2, to reveal that he’ll be releasing a single with popular duo Dan + Shay.
“New music. Wedding music. [Dan + Shay] and this guy. Friday,” Justin wrote, referring to October 4. Naturally, his followers couldn’t contain their joy.
“FINALLY,” one user commented. “I literally just started crying. Why did you do this to me? I love you so much, brother!” added another. “OMG. I am so pumped,” a third person chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “King of releasing wedding music after his own wedding.” To be fair, the teaser Justin shared offers zero insight on what the song will be about — or how it’s going to sound, for that matter.
However, because of the whole “wedding music” thing, a lot of people are speculating that it will be a love song … perhaps something Justin even played at his actual nuptials! After all, both members of Dan + Shay, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, attended the A-list affair on Monday, September 30.
Beyond that, gifting Hailey, 22, with a single would be the most romantic gesture ever and if there’s one thing Justin loves (loves, loves) to do, it’s make his wife swoon. In fact, after the pair officially walked down the aisle, Justin flocked to social media to fawn over his lady.
“My bride is [hot],” he captioned two PDA-packed photo booth snapshots of the pair. In the first picture, Justin and Hailey exchanged a sweet smooch while the model adjusted her man’s bow tie. In the second, the couple opted for something more playful.
Our only complaint is that out of all the images shared from Justin and Hailey’s wedding, we still haven’t seen her dress! One working theory is that the music video for Justin and Dan + Shay’s new single will actually be footage from the wedding reception. Here’s hoping that’s true. We’re dying to see everything that went down.
