Former ‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe Is Headed to Broadway for the Holidays!
It's going to be a very Bachelor Christmas! Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe is headed to Broadway for a family-friendly holiday show. The brunette beauty revealed she will be hosting and showing off her singing and dancing skills on the Great White Way this holiday season.
The show, which is called Home for the Holidays, will run through November and December at the August Wilson Theater in NYC — and Kaitlyn shared the exciting news on her podcast. "If you had asked me when I was little, like, 'Imagine you were on Broadway,' I'd be like, 'Yeah, right.'" the reality star said. "I grew up dancing and singing and I just love everything about that."
Kaitlyn, 32, will be joined by alums from your favorite reality shows, including American Idol, The Voice, and America's Got Talent and her fiancé Shawn Booth will definitely be cheering her on. "That is very, very exciting. Cheers, babe. Proud of you," he told Kaitlyn on her podcast Off the Vine.
It might seem like a stretch that a Bachelorette makes her way to Broadway, but Kaitlyn is not your average girl. Before competing on Chris Soules' season of the reality dating competition, she was a dance instructor in Vancouver and her mom was a ballet dancer. She also recently admitted that she hoped to join Dancing With the Stars following her run, but claimed that producer Mike Fleiss told her she wasn't allowed to compete. "Dancing is, honestly, it's a passion of mine. I've never done ballroom dancing, so that would be very new to me," she said in a previous podcast.
Clearly, this is right up Kaitlyn's alley. "It's a big deal!" she excitedly added. "I get to go do a show, every single night on Broadway… it's a family holiday show, every night in New York!" Click here to get tickets!
