Former ‘Bachelorette’ Star Kaitlyn Bristowe Has the Best Response to Jason Tartick Engagement Rumors
Not so fast! Bachelor Nation favorites Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick have only been dating for about eight months, but one fan insisted that the New York native had put a ring on the blonde beauty’s finger. However, the podcast host couldn’t help but laugh off the rumors.
“Bianca [Andreescu] won, AND I was in the same building as Meghan Markle,” the 34-year-old captioned a photo of herself with Jason, 30, at the US Open on Saturday, September 7 on Instagram. “What a date night, what a win. #USOpen #GoCanada.”
Of course, one of her followers couldn’t help but notice that her left hand was not in clear view in the snap. “You are hiding your left hand in your pocket … ENGAGED,” they wrote. However, the former ABC starlet cleared the air, writing, “Look. If there’s pockets in my dress, you will find my hand in there for a photo. #NotEngaged.”
But fans are hoping that these two have some exciting news soon! One person wrote, “We can hope,” while another echoed, “Get engaged soon. Lovely couple you guys are.” A third person chimed in, writing, “We wish you were though!”
After Kaitlyn called off her three-year engagement to Shawn Booth in November 2018, she moved on with Jason — who previously vied for Becca Kufrin’s heart on The Bachelor in 2018. Since January, the duo has been inseparable. In May, Kaitlyn revealed during an episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast that she was moving in with Jason in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, the handsome hunk and the Canada native adopted a golden retriever together in June named Ramen.
Even though these two aren’t planning a wedding just yet, it seems like they are heading in that direction. “I think I can speak for Kaitlyn,” Jason told E! News in July after he was asked if he plans to get down on one knee soon. “I think Kaitlyn has an expectation within a year.”
However, Kaitlyn wanted to clarify her comments. “I don’t have an expectation,” she said. “I don’t expect anything. I just think on the path that we’re on, it would make sense that this is the next step. And moving in, we have the confidence in our relationship. We just rescued a dog together, so that just feels like the next step in our relationship.”
The finance guru revealed he is looking forward to their future together. “We’re on the same page,” he gushed. “We know what we want out of this relationship.”
