‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe Finally Calls Jason Tartick Her ‘Boyfriend’: ‘You Can’t Fight Chemistry!’
It’s like Christmas all over again for Bachelor Nation! Two franchise faves — Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick — have been spending a lot of time together lately, and the former Bachelorette finally admitted that she considers Becca Kufrin‘s second runner up to be her “boyfriend!”
“It’s actually so strange to go from being engaged to thinking of someone as your boyfriend,” said the 33-year-old after her manager Clio de la Llave asked her about Jason, 30, on her Off The Vine podcast on January 17. “Because I feel like that’s taking a step backwards — it’s not. It’s not. If anything, it’s taking a step forward because you’re just growing and evolving as a person.”
“So, yeah … I mean … I would be upset if he was dating anyone else and I think he would be upset if I was dating anyone else,” she continued. We don’t think she has anything to worry about, because it definitely seems like Jason is all in with Kaitlyn. The pair shared three dates within three days recently, and they both documented the outings on Instagram for the world to see. That definitely doesn’t scream “I might be seeing other people,” does it?
Fans were shocked when Kaitlyn admitted that she and her fiancé of three years, Shawn Booth, had called it quits in November 2018. But just two months later, it seems like Kaitlyn is on the track to finding love again. “I never thought I would hang out with somebody from The Bachelor franchise!” she continued. “I feel bad for saying that … I was like, ‘You know what? I’ll just be a little more private, low-key. Whatever.’ But you can’t help who you like. … You can’t fight chemistry. You can’t fight a good guy.” We can’t wait to see more from this adorable budding romance!
