Umm, did Kanye West just throw a little shade at his buddy Donald Trump? While chatting with Jimmy Kimmel on his show, the Kardashian husband discussed his new album, politics, and wife Kim Kardashian, as well as how those three things can occasionally overlap. After all, it wasn’t that long ago that Keeks herself made a visit to the White House, talking with the president about prison reform and a woman named Alice Marie Johnson. Thanks to that sit down, Alice had her sentence commuted, and Kim chalked up a win for her activism. Kanye was super proud, but he also sent a little side-eye Trump’s way. “Were you ever concerned about her being alone in the office with President Trump?” the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host asked. “Well, he is a player,” Kanye shot back, shaking his head.

It’s all just jokes. After all, Ye made his feelings about the president abundantly clear earlier this year when he declared that he loved him, posted plenty of pics of his signed MAGA hat, and tweeted that he and Trump both have “dragon energy,” whatever that means. Personally, “player” isn’t necessarily the word we’d use for someone who grabs women “by the p—y,” but to each their own. And though political differences seemed to cause some serious tension between Kanye and Kim for a minute there, it seems that the KUWTK star is starting to come around to the Trump train.

“I have nothing bad to say about the president,” Kiki told Jimmy last week while on his show. “I knew that there was only one person in power who could make this change, who could get this woman out of prison, so I went for it.” Though she was originally bugging about allegedly being “used” by the president, she seems to have gotten over it. And if she’s able to use that connection for good, well, more power to her, we guess! “I’m very grateful, I’m very hopeful more good things will come out of our meeting,” she continued. “There’s a lot of positive things, and bills we’re trying to get passed.”
