Kensington Palace released Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas card on Dec. 18, and they may have dropped a major hint regarding the sex of baby No. 3! Although we first noticed how stinkin’ cute Prince George, 4, and Charlotte, 2, are — seriously, they’re perfect — we also noticed that the family-of-four donned all-blue ensembles, a tell-tale sign that the pregnant royal is expecting a baby boy, right?! Well, not necessarily.

While many people were commenting on the photo with blue hearts, others were quick to shut down rumors that their outfits had meaning behind them. “The color scheme doesn’t mean anything,” one doubter wrote. Another added, “I don’t think it’s meant to reveal the gender.”

In October, Us Weekly reported that William and Kate wouldn’t be finding out the gender of their third child. “They’re going to leave it to surprise this time,” an insider explained. “They’re taking each day as it comes. After you’ve had two children, the third usually feels like somewhat of a breeze so they’re just focused on Kate and the baby’s health right now. Everything else can wait.”

Luckily, they have a good amount of time to prepare. The duo announced that their baby is due in April 2018, so there’s no rush to prep anything. Plus, Kate is feeling much better after her bought with hyperemesis gravidarum, the condition that has made her super sick at the beginning of all of her pregnancies. We’re happy to hear Kate is feeling better — and we can’t wait to meet their little one!
