It’s a case of he said, she said — for now. Kate Upton recently revealed she can’t wait to tell her side of the story when it comes to her sexual assault allegations against Guess founder Paul Marciano. However, in the meantime, the designer is speaking out and accusing the model of lying because his company decided to part ways with her.

“Ms. Upton provided no details… She leveled this malicious and false accusation only hours before a gala event at our headquarters in Los Angeles unveiling a new Guess campaign,” he told TMZ in a statement. “I am told that she has been working with others for some time to defame me and will claim that I groped her among other things.”

He continued, “This accusation is false. I have never touched Kate Upton. I have never been alone with Kate Upton. I have never acted inappropriately towards her.” The 65-year-old went on to explain how Guess’ decision to end its relationship with Kate is the real reason the blonde beauty is speaking out. However, Paul’s statement failed to mention the other women who are also accusing him of sexual misconduct.

In an interview with The Blast, a model, who wished to remain anonymous, detailed her sexual assault after allegedly meeting Paul at Guess headquarters. “I kind of laughed and said, ‘I have a boyfriend’ and pushed him away,” she said of the assault. “[Paul is] taking advantage of his position of power, and promises a career if you play his game, but he’s just preying on the dreams of young girls.”

Current Guess girl Jennifer Lopez also spoke after following Kate’s claims and made it clear she does not support the type of behavior being alleged. “My position on these issues is well known, as I have been very vocal about them. I do not condone any acts of sexual harassment, violation, or misconduct,” she said in a statement. “Any accusations should be fully and thoroughly investigated. I will continue to support our rights as women.”
