When it comes to buying an engagement ring, Chris Pratt is no rookie! That’s why on Jan. 14, we weren’t exactly surprised to see that his new fiancée, Katherine Schwarzenegger, was rocking some seriously enviable bling in the pair’s official engagement announcement. However, we couldn’t help but wonder how the 29-year-old’s ring compares to the one the actor, 39, gave to his ex-wife, Anna Faris.

With that, Life & Style reached out to Brilliant Earth’s Kathryn Money for all the important deets on whose ring reigns supreme. “Katherine’s ring appears to feature an estimated six to seven carat elongated cushion cut or oval-shaped diamond in a delicate solitaire setting,” Kathryn explained. “Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center diamond, we estimate the cost of the ring at approximately $150,000-250,000 or more.”

Wowza! We know that love doesn’t have a price tag or anything, but if it did, er, we couldn’t exactly afford it.

Kathryn then went on to reveal how the author’s ring holds up against Chris’ former flame’s. “Both rings are elegant and classic in style. In late 2016, Chris upgraded Anna’s engagement ring to a stunning oval diamond (of approx. six to six and a half carats) surrounded by a diamond halo on a diamond accented band in either platinum or white gold,” she explained.

“Assuming high color and clarity diamond characteristics, we estimate the cost at $250,000 or more. Katherine’s ring is reminiscent of the oval solitaire ring Pratt originally proposed with in 2008, as both rings feature a fancy shaped diamond in a delicate solitaire setting.”

Well, y’all, we hate to say it, but it looks like Katherine’s current ring isn’t quite as magnificent as Anna’s upgrade. Who knows, though, perhaps Chris will do the same for his soon-to-be bride in the future. Either way, the A-list couple seems super in love and as it happens, Anna is very happy for them. Congratulations on being the chillest modern family ever.
