Katy Perry Catches “Feels” for Taylor Swift’s Ex Calvin Harris (EXCLUSIVE)
She’s not afraid to catch feels! Katy Perry just collaborated with Calvin Harris on the summer hit “Feels” but it looks like there is more to their relationship than music. Katy is crushing hard on the Scottish DJ, who just happens to be her archenemy Taylor Swift‘s ex-boyfriend.
According to Life & Style, Katy, 32, would be open to dating Calvin, 33. “Katy blushes whenever she’s with Calvin because she thinks he’s so hot,” says a source. “She loves his accent and his sense of humor. She’s told friends that she’d love to go on a date with him.”
Despite her feud with Taylor, Katy is not going after Calvin for revenge — but it would be a fun side benefit. “Calvin and Katy have joked,” adds the source, “that they’d love to see Taylor’s face if they hooked up.”
Last year, Calvin dragged his ex-girlfriend on social media after she confirmed she wrote the hit song “This Is What You Came For” after agreeing to keep the collaboration a secret. “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” Calvin tweeted. “Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR Life because you’ve earned a great one. I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”
Katy also jumped into the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty, adding, “Time, the ultimate truth teller.” Taylor eventually went into hiding but reemerged with a new single that seemingly reignites her feud with “Firework” singer.
“I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined / I check it once, then I check it twice, oh,” she sings in “Look What You Made Me Do,” referring to the infamous scene in Mean Girls. Fans will remember that Katy once called Taylor a “Regina George in sheep’s clothing.” Dating Calvin would be the ultimate comeback.
