Khloé Kardashian Says She Doesn’t Care to Date Right Now: ‘I’m Not in a Rush for It’
Alexa, play “Single Ladies.” Khloé Kardashian may be alone following her split from Tristan Thompson, but she’s not lonely! “I haven’t jumped into dating, I don’t care to date right now, I’m not in a rush for it, I feel so good in my life and I don’t really need much else,” the longtime KUWTK star told Jay Shetty during an October 14 episode of his podcast, “On Purpose.”
“Something that I’m focusing on is just making sure to process everything,” Koko noted on her post-breakup lifestyle. “I think, especially in my family, we’re good at moving on. Like, we have very big, forgiving hearts. We just move on … but we don’t really talk about things that happened and I don’t really know if that’s healthy or not.”
Of course, the “things that happened” between Khloé and Tristan, 28, are two highly publicized cheating scandals — first, when she was pregnant with the pair’s daughter, True Thompson, and second, with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods. Even so, Koko has admittedly put the past in the past.
“For what I went through with my breakup, I forgive Tristan, I don’t think he’s a bad person, I think we all make mistakes — we’re humans — but it’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding on to this anger and playing this victim role,” the Good American mogul reasoned.
“I don’t believe in being a victim. Maybe, If I’m open and honest, I can make other people feel like it’s OK, we’re all human, we’re all going to get through things, but you also can’t condemn someone else,” Khloé added. “We’re all so quick to exile people and it’s all so heavy to me. So, something I’m focusing on is just making sure I’m healed from that — or as much as I can — and making sure I understand it.”
Thankfully, part of Koko’s healing process includes keeping her relationship with True, 19 months, seperate from her feelings toward her ex. “[Tristan] and I have our own relationship, and then Tristan and True have theirs. I will never come in between that. I don’t believe in that,” she assured.
