Khloé Kardashian Worries That Tristan Thompson ‘Will Be An Absent Father To True… Like He Is To His Son,’ Report Says
She’s holding on for dear life! Khloé Kardashian is reportedly “clinging” to her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, for one major reason — her daughter, True Thompson! “Khloé’s worst nightmare is that Tristan will be an absent father to True. She loves him but the reason she’s clingy is because she doesn’t want him to be a part-time dad to True like he is to his son,” a source close to the KUTWK star revealed to Radar Online.
ICYMI: Koko isn’t the NBA baller’s first baby mama. Tristan has a son, Prince, with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. According to the source, Tristan sees his one-year-old “every now and then,” but hardly as often as he sees his baby girl. In fact, Tristan’s lack of involvement in Prince’s life has been an issue for the Khloé in the past. “Every time Tristan brought gifts home for True, Khloé reminded him to send some to Prince,” the source explained. “She wanted him to spoil his son the same way he spoiled True.”
Sadly, the 34-year-old’s fears stem deeper than just Tristan’s not-so-great track record as a father. “Khloé was devastated when her dad died and wants True and Tristan to have a strong bond like she did with her dad, no matter what.” Sigh. Talk about being stuck in seemingly a lose-lose situation, huh?
If Khloé stays with Tristan, it’s likely that his history of cheating will resurface. After all, on Sept. 20, the 27-year-old was spotted out and about getting close with another woman at a LA nightclub. “Tristan and a girl were chatting and flirting throughout the night,” a partygoer told Us Weekly at the time. “They were very touchy-feely. He had his hand on her butt.” Yikes. Not a good look, Tristan!
Unsurprisingly, things have only gotten worse between Khloé and her man. So much so, that the family’s reported move to Cleveland for Tristan’s basketball season has become a solo mission. Khloé’s “feelings about Tristan cheating is something that she is still dealing with. She has good weeks when she is fine about it and weeks when she is upset about it,” a source confessed to People.
“Khloé still struggles with this sometimes. She wants to move back to Cleveland, but she isn’t sure what date she is [going]. The move is postponed for now. She seems very upset about leaving her family. She had the best summer in LA,” the source added. Here’s hoping that Khloé and Tristan figure things out sooner rather than later! In the meantime, we’re happy the Good American mogul is surrounded by her family for support.
