Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Are Reportedly ‘In Contact’ With An Orphanage In Armenia To Adopt A Boy
The more the merrier! On a recent episode of KUWTK, Kim Kardashian confessed husband Kanye West wants four more kids, to make up a total of seven children. Now it looks like they might be on their way to a bigger family after all. The power couple is looking to adopt a boy from Armenia, a source who spoke to Heat magazine revealed.
Kim suffered from placenta accreta in the past, resulting in a high-risk pregnancy which is why she opted to have nine-month-old Chicago via surrogate. Carrying a child is very unlikely for her and while surrogacy is still an available option, Kimye seems to want to explore their options in expanding their family.
“They’ve been in contact with an orphanage in Armenia that they visited three years ago, and they are planning a trip over there in the next few weeks. [Her late father] Robert’s family was Armenian, so it feels totally natural. Kim doted on her dad and would love a little boy who who reminds her of him,” said the insider.
A few years ago, Kim visited Thailand and considered adopting a young orphan girl by the name of Pink, so this seems like something she would totally commit to. Kim has also been very open about her Armenian roots, often speaking out on the country’s genocide.
Since she had a close bond with her dad who passed away 15 years ago, the reality star wants to honor his side of the family. She reportedly has picked out the name Sam for her potential son, in tribute to her paternal great-great grandfather who was born Saghatel Kardaschoff and changed his name to Sam Kardashian when arriving to the United States.
Kim and Kanye already share three children together — North, Saint, and Chicago, and it’s quite possible they’ll welcome their fourth child soon!
