If #grandmagoals is a thing, Kim Kardashian’s grandmother Mary Jo “MJ” Houghton is the living definition. The reality TV queen, 37, and the adorable 83-year-old sat down with each other to film a video for KimKardashianWest.com, in which they cover a variety of topics — including their two-month marriages.
As fans are well aware, Kim was married to Kris Humphries for only 72 days before she filed for divorce from the basketball player on Oct. 31, 2011. MJ briefly tied the knot with her high school sweetheart — but decided to call it quits once she realized they weren’t right for each other. The spunky senior citizen candidly discussed her short-lived union with Kim.

"We have so much in common. History repeats itself," MJ told her granddaughter. "I can't believe it because I was married for two months at 18. Right out of high school I was given an engagement ring, a guy I had been going with for four years. And then I just thought, ‘You know what? This isn't really that much fun,' so I got out of it.”
She continued, “Once you got married you realized it. ‘What did I do?' And you try to stay in there for a month or so and really try hard and you just cant. You think, ‘I shouldn't waste his time.’"
"Yes! I get it grandma," Kim — who is now married to Kanye West, with whom she is expecting baby No. 3 via surrogate — said. "I feel you.” In the clip, the Selfish author also asked MJ to share her thoughts about her and her sisters’ sexy nude photoshoots. Surprisingly, the apparently liberal-minded mother of Kris Jenner revealed she has no problem with her family’s skin-baring snaps.
"Does that make you uncomfortable when I do photo shoots with my clothes off? What do you think of that? Like I'm dying to know,” Kim asked, to which MJ replied, "Well, I think you like to be nude, all you guys. And half the people on the Internet. I think it's a thing now that people want to show their bodies.”
