When it comes to sibling rivalry, nobody comes close to Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, 36. They both launched killer makeup empires, compete for best booty, and battle it out for most Instagram followers. Now, with Kim expecting her third baby via surrogate, her 20-year-old sis is also reportedly pregnant. So how does Kim feel about all of this?

“Her first reaction was, ‘Seriously?’” a Kim insider told People. “She didn’t respond well at first. It’s like she and Kanye [West] had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie. She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.” It seems like Kim felt the same way that the whole world felt, like the reported pregnancy “came out of nowhere.” “It was the last thing on their radar. Kylie is just 20 and hasn’t been with [boyfriend Travis Scott] for very long. So no one saw this coming.”

However, Kim loves her sister, and once she moved past the initial shock, she was ready to be her biggest cheerleader again. “Of course Kim is happy for Kylie,” explained the source. “She’s going to support Kylie 100 percent, no matter what. There’s never been any question about that. But it’s just a weird dynamic, after all that Kim did to intentionally have another child. It has taken a lot of time, energy and money for her to get pregnant, and now Kylie is having a baby around the same time.”

But having kids at the same time can actually be really special. Just look at North West, 4, and Penelope Disick, 5. The two adorable little girls are basically inseparable, and they’re total besties. Kim is loving the idea that her third child could have that, too. “The babies will be the same age, and will probably be very close,” said the insider. “Family is everything for the Kardashians, so they’re going to focus on these new kids in the family. Everyone is genuinely happy.This is ultimately really great news, because it’s a new life. They realize that.”

The only concern now is that Travis has good intentions. “They don’t know him too well,” said the insider. “They just want to make sure that this isn’t a Blac Chyna situation. Kylie is so young and everybody is afraid that she could get really hurt.”
