If it weren’t for one, the other would never be. Kim Kardashian got real about her career in a pow-wow with younger sis Khloé Kardashian — and the 38-year-old totally acknowledged the fact that friend and former employer Paris Hilton paved the way for her to have a career.

“God, I’m so tired,” Kim complained to her sister in the Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 17 preview clip.  “And I have to work all night.”

After Khlo, 35, asked what her big project was, Kim spilled the beans: “I’m gonna go and be in this music video with Paris for one of her new songs.” If you’re a fan of Kim or Paris, you probably know the video in question. Kim was a guest star in the music video for the 38-year-old blonde’s song “My Best Friend’s Ass,” which came out back in May.

Of course, Koko wanted to know what Kim would be doing in the vid, to which she joked, “Well I said, as long as I don’t dance, like that’s just where I draw the line.” If y’all saw the video, you know Kimmy got her wish. LOL.

But on a more serious note, the KKW Beauty founder wanted to make sure her sis knew she was taking the commitment seriously — despite both the 2019 Met Gala and her new baby’s birth approaching.

“I really would want to do anything for her. She literally gave me a career and I, like, totally acknowledge that,” Kim told her. “Even just this week, I’m trying to get everything done before the Met and everything done before the baby comes and I would drop it for her because that’s important to me, to be loyal to people.”

“It will go a long way,” her younger sis reassured her about her commitment to the project. Needless to say, we admire Kim’s humble attitude. Plus, the video wouldn’t have been the same without her!

Keeping Up With the Kardashians premieres Sunday, September 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, only on E!.
