Kim Kardashian’s ‘Ultimate Bush’ Thongs Are Real — and the Internet Can’t Handle It

First came the padded undies. Then came the nipple bras. And now… faux pubic hair thongs? Yes, you read that right — Kim Kardashian is taking Skims to a whole new level, and the internet can’t handle it.

After months of viral jokes and a debunked rumor, the concept of “faux bush panties” has officially become a reality. On Tuesday, October 14, Skims announced its latest capsule collection — and it’s unlike anything they’ve done before.

‘The Ultimate Bush’ Launches

Kim, 44, revealed the Faux Hair Micro String Thong, which features “a mix of curly and straight faux hair in twelve different shade variations,” according to the SKIMS website. The $32 product is part of a new capsule cheekily named “The Ultimate Bush.”

The brand dropped the news on Instagram with a campaign video parodying a 1970s game show titled Does the Carpet Match the Drapes? In the skit, a suited host asks the audience to guess if the models’ “hair down there” matches their head color.

The caption reads, “Just Dropped: The Ultimate Bush. With our daring new Faux Hair Panty, your carpet can be whatever color you want it to be.”

And the Crowd Is … Confused

Within an hour of the video going live, it had nearly 500 comments — and let’s just say, not everyone was feeling it.

“I’m calling 911,” one follower joked. Another wrote, “I just googled the date to make sure it’s not April 1st.”

“Who asked for this???” asked one confused fan, while someone else commented, “@kimkardashian are you ok?” Perhaps the most dramatic response came from a user who said, “I can’t unsee and I demand a refund for something I never even paid for.”

Skims Has a History of Viral Drops

This isn’t Kim’s first time causing a stir with a headline-grabbing launch. Earlier in 2025, Skims released padded underwear designed to enhance the butt, which went viral almost instantly. Then came the “nipple bras,” which featured built-in faux nipples and were somehow both controversial and wildly popular.

Back in December, Kim even teased the current collection with a faux fur bikini, hinting that she might be dipping into merkin territory. But now, she’s made it official.
