Uh oh! Kim Zolciak-Biermann took to Instagram on Monday, September 23, to share a photo of her daughter Kaia Biermann wearing makeup. Many fans slammed Kim’s parenting after she allowed her 5-year-old to alter her appearance.

“Picture of the screen,” the 41-year-old captioned a photo of her mini-me filming behind the scenes. “Where does the time go? @kaiabiermann, how are you 5 already?” While Kaia looks adorable, many filled the comments section to express their concern over her glam. “Please let her be 5. She looks so grown up here,” wrote one person. “This is a 5-year-old?”  someone asked. “She looks more like 25 in this pic,” commented a third person.

Fortunately, the Don’t Be Tardy star seems unbothered with the negative attention considering she continued posting BTS footage of both of her youngest kids — one of them being her son Kane, who joined his twin sister on set. The day before, the mom of two couldn’t help but gush about her children and shared a sweet snap of them together. “Be still my ❤️ these 2 are the cutest 😍😍 interview today 😉🙏🏼 @kaiabiermann @kanebiermann,” she captioned the photo of the little ones hugging each other.

Based on the background and the clothes, the photo she shared was taken on the same day as her last post of Kaia’s close-up. While she’s also wearing makeup in the photo with her twin brother, fans seemed to be more focused on the adorableness of their embrace, rather than on her appearance. “Precious!” commented a fan. “Such a beautiful family!” wrote a second person.

Kaia isn’t the first celebrity kid to wear makeup and cause controversy because of it. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest child, North West, is all about rockin’ bold colors — especially red lipstick. However, that recently came to an end. “I think he had it, he changed all the rules,” the KKW Beauty founder told E! News regarding her husband.

“I’d let [North] wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip. So, I kind of got in trouble for that,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star added. “So, it’s now no more makeup.” Maybe he’ll change his mind!
