Ah, the memories. Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories to share an old, emotional note from her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., on September 20 — and even shared that her sister Khloé Kardashian got a tattoo of their dad’s handwriting from the sweet letter.

“My dad would always leave me notes when we lived together,” the 38-year-old wrote over a photo of the note from her dad, who passed away in 2003. The letter read, “Kim — I’m at Lawrey’s for Uncle Lany’s birthday. I have my pager. I’ll be home around 10 or 11. I love you, Daddy.”

Talk about the sweetest little letter in the world. Clearly, the note is a keepsake not only for Kim, but also her younger sis Khlo, whom she revealed has part of the letter tattooed on herself.

The reveal was born out of a fan tweet, which included a screengrab of Kimmy’s Story with the follower’s own commentary: “It’s sooooo crazy yet cool that Kim still has these notes from her dad! I know she’s not a fan of tattoos, but if I was her, I would totally get the tattoo with his handwriting saying ‘I love you, Daddy.’ That’s something she will have forever.”

Kim retweeted the sweet sentiment, adding, “Khloé has that exact tattoo.” Now, you may remember from an old KUWTK episode back in 2015, when Koko got her lower back tat (the one that read “Daddy”) lasered off. But that doesn’t mean she didn’t make sure to get another tribute to her dad in a better spot. She then got the “I Love You” bit from the note inked on her wrist.

Kanye West‘s wife also shared some of her own Father’s Day cards for her dad. “He saved every card I wrote him,” she wrote over a note for his special day in June 2002, just a year before he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. “Dad — I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me. I love working for you!” 22-year-old Kim wrote to her dad. “I love you and Happy Father’s Day! [Love,] Kimberly.”

She even shared an older card, possibly from her elementary school days. “Happy Father’s Day! Love, Kimberly,” read the sweet card, written on guided lined paper.

Such treasures!
