The heiress, 38, also came to play in this curve-hugging silver dress. Paris is one of Kim’s longtime friends and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve supported each other through the years. “I really would want to do anything for her. She literally gave me a career and I, like, totally acknowledge that,” the mom-of-four admitted to Khloé Kardashian about the DJ during a season 17 clip for KUWTK.
The makeup mogul explained in the teaser that she was staying up all night to appear in Paris’ music video for “My Best Friend’s Ass.” At the time, Kim was gearing up to travel to the Big Apple for the 2019 Met Gala and was awaiting the arrival of her newborn son, Psalm West. “Even just this week, I’m trying to get everything done before the Met and everything done before the baby comes and I would drop it for her because that’s important to me, to be loyal to people,” she noted.
Kim and La La, 38, travel all over the country together, so it’s no surprise the TRL star would pop up in NYC for the event. The ladies love spending time together and even influence each other’s fashion choices. “It’s like ‘What do you think of this, what do you think of that,’ as friends, you know, do. And she’s an amazing friend. She offers great advice, style tips,” LaLa exclusively told Life & Style about her relationship with the E! star.
“I think we’ve seen each other for a while and there was something that I really needed advice on from Winnie, who has vitiligo, about autoimmune issues I was having. I talk about that a lot on my show this season,” Kim explained during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on September 11.
She continued, “I didn’t even know Winnie so I think I asked Kendall [Jenner] or someone for her number and I text [her] like, ‘Hey, this is Kim K. This is super weird that I’m reaching out to you but I wonder if you would be open to talking with me about some of your autoimmune issues because I’m suffering from them and have people close to me that are.’ And, I really wanted her opinion and advice.”
Winnie was, of course, open to helping out the KKW Beauty founder and they “spoke for an hour” about her health concerns. “She was like, ‘Absolutely, call me,’ and we spoke. She gave me the best advice and I feel like we just bonded from there and started our relationship from that,” Kim said.
During the same interview, the host asked Winnie if it was a struggle for the launch to happen during New York Fashion Week because of her stacked schedule. “You know what, I just think, like, Kim does so much. I don’t have any kids, you know what I mean?” Winne began. “Kim does so much and she’s a mother. She’s a hard worker. She’s a businesswoman. So, if Kim can do it, so can I.”
