Kirsten Dunst and Fiancé Jesse Plemons Welcome Baby No. 1! (REPORT)
Congratulations are in order! Kirsten Dunst and her fiancé, Jesse Plemons, allegedly welcomed their first baby together over the weekend.
A source told People the couple is now parents to “a healthy baby boy.” The insider additionally revealed that “everyone is doing great.”
Jesse and Kirsten have not yet commented on the birth, so we don’t know his name or the exact day he was born. However, in a recent interview, Kirsten joked about what the duo might name their bundle of joy. “I’ll name my kid ‘Fargo Season 2!'” she teased, referring to the FX show where she and Jesse met and played husband and wife on screen.
Kirsten confirmed her pregnancy back in January with a series of photos of herself cradling her baby bump. Just months before that, Kirsten told Marie Claire UK that she was ready for children. “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m like, I’ve been working since I was 3. It’s time to have babies and chill,” she shared. “You know what I mean?”
“I wasn’t one of those ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid,” Kirsten added. “I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, ‘Where’s Kiki?’ I just love that love. That’s what I want.”
Kirsten first began dating Jesse in 2016 after they co-starred on Fargo, and their engagement was confirmed in January 2017, just a few months before she opened up about wanting kids. “You know when you work together you sometimes think, ‘Oh, it’s because of that that you are developing feelings.’ It was a year later that we got together,” she explained of her relationship with Jesse on Live with Kelly & Ryan.
And now, we’re sure Kirsten has her hands full with being a new mom on top of wedding planning. We’re not sure when their nuptials will be now, but one thing’s for sure — their son will make an adorable ring bearer!
