‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Turned Down After Proposing to 25-Year-Old Potential Wife (EXCLUSIVE)
Life & Style has learned that Sister Wives star Kody Brown recently proposed to a 25-year-old woman he wanted to be the newest addition to his family – but she said no. “He’s heartbroken,” an insider says of the 49-year-old. “He had his sights set on her as a sister wife replacement for his first wife Meri, but she turned him down.”
Meri, 47, moved out of Kody’s Las Vegas compound in December, leaving the polygamy-practicing patriarch with three partners: his legal wife Robyn, 39, and “spiritual” wives Christine, 45, and Janelle, 48.
So Kody began courting this much-younger woman, a divorced mother of two. “She’s beautiful and Kody liked her tomboy spirit,” the insider says. “She told him, ‘Let me know if you ever want a young, hot wife.’ He was over the moon.”
But things hit a rough patch when Kody started cutting back on his visits to her because he didn’t want to upset Robyn. “Kody told his friends that he was still sure it would work out,” says the insider, “if he showed his commitment by proposing to her.”
Instead, it backfired. “The woman told him she didn’t like the way Robyn controlled him so much,” says the insider, “and said she could no longer see a future with him.”
