ICYMI, Cardi B — whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar — is currently living her best life. Not only did the world just find out she secretly got married to Offset last year, but she’s also pregnant with her first child — and let’s just say she’s pretty stoked. The rapper took to Instagram on Monday, June 25 to share a clip of herself dancing and lip-syncing to her own song and wrote “HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY! in the caption. To top it off, momager Kris Jenner commented on it — and offered up her services!
“Wait, can I be the midwife? Just thinking this through…” the 62-year-old wrote. Obsessed.
Unfortunately, Cardi ignored her comment. Sigh. But Kris would probably be good for moral support in the delivery room. After all, she was with her daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie when they delivered their little ones.
Cardi confirmed her baby news with a performance on Saturday Night Live after months of speculation. She sang her hit song “Be Careful,” with the spotlight initially only her face, before zooming out to reveal her bump-hugging white dress.
When pregnancy rumors first started swirling back in February, the Bronx native immediately shut them down. When one hater inquired about a “Kylie Jenner secret,” she replied, “No b—h, I’m just getting fat. Let me fat in peace.” LOL. We can’t wait to meet their baby girl!
