Former ‘RHONY’ Couple Kristen and Josh Taekman Are Living Their Best Lives off the Bravo Grid
Bravolebrities, no more! Kristen Taekman and her husband Josh Taekman, formerly of the Real Housewives of New York City fame, are living their best lives off the Bravo grid. Who thought life after being on Andy Cohen‘s A-list was even possible?
During a recent interview with Page Six, Kristen reflected on her reality television reign, but also assured that she’s doing just fine without always being in the spotlight, particularly when it comes to her marriage. Despite a few hiccups — including Josh’s involvement in the 2015 Ashley Madison scandal — the couple’s relationship is sound with no sign of divorce in sight.
“I think it was good for us to sit back and kind of check in with where we were and made us definitely much stronger as a couple,” the now-41-year-old began. “Kind of coming out the other end of it, I feel like it really puts you to the test in a really good way, I think that’s what we did, and we’re stronger for it,” she said of the couple’s time on RHONY.
As far as whether she still watches the show, you bet she does! “I caught up the other day, and this is the most amazing chemistry, ever. I think they finally found the right formula of personalities, and I’m excited to see what unfolds,” Kristen continued.
That said, the current fashion blogger isn’t exactly itching to get back into the ring with her old co-stars due to the drama, but it’s not totally out of the realm of possibilities. “It’s a toss-up. I guess it would depend on where I was in my life, what was happening on the show, who was on and who wasn’t,” Kristen explained. “I feel like you never say never, but I feel like I’m really happy with where things are right now in my life.”
After her time on the hit reality show wrapped, Kristen started to focus on her style site, Last Night’s Look. “It’s really turned into a full-time job, which is super exciting,” she revealed. “It started off as a hobby, to tell the fans of the show where I got all of my fun looks. In the last two years, it’s really taken off. I work on it every day, and it’s this really fun job.”
Even though Kristen has moved on, her epic fights with Ramona were Real Housewives gold and while there’s no lack of arguments on the current season, Kristen’s special brand of sass will forever be missed.
