Literal Family Feud? Kylie Jenner Was Noticeably Absent From Kim Kardashian’s Birthday Celebration
Ummm, WTF is going on?! During last night’s special KUWTK episode in honor of Kim Kardashian‘s 38th birthday, fans couldn’t help but notice that her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, was completely MIA.
Basically, the show was a combination of Kiki’s favorite clips of the reality series over the years — along with a montage of shoutouts from family and friends sending Kim love on her special day. Everyone from John Legend and Chrissy Teigen to Johnathan Cheban and Scott Disick participated.
“You’re so special, you’re sweet, you’re kind, you’re loving and we’re blessed to have you in our lives,” John and Chrissy gushed. Oh, and then John sang “Happy Birthday” to Kim because, like, of course, he did.
“With all the work and all the fame, she is still able to have time for the people she cares about and loves, which is her family. And that’s really her main concern and I’m sure there are people that think she doesn’t spend as much time with anyone and they are wrong,” Kim’s pseudo-brother-in-law, Scott Disick, said.
TBH, if Lord Disick could find the time to wish the mother-of-three a happy birthday, why couldn’t Kylie? We definitely smell some beef, y’all. As it stands, neither Kim nor the Kylie Cosmetics mogul has commented about her absence during the special.
To be fair, however, both Rob Kardashian and Caitlin Jenner were also absent. So, who really knows? Maybe Kylie had a scheduling conflict. The 21-year-old did go on to share a brief message to her Instagram Stories for Kim… but it was hardly anything major. “Happy Birthday, Kimmy. I love you,” she wrote.
Mind you, her other sisters, Khloé Kardashian in particular, wrote a novel for her famous sibling on Instagram. Seeing as Kylie and Kim were reportedly feuding this past summer, it’s possible that things haven’t gotten any better between the pair. Nothing says “eff you” quite like ignoring someone’s birthday.
