Kylie Jenner ‘Living in a State of Anxiety’ Over Timothee Chalamet: ‘Worried About Losing Him’
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been packing on the PDA and hanging out plenty of late, but a source exclusively tells Life & Style she’s still mighty paranoid he’ll dump her like a hot potato one of these days – and his roving eye remains cause for serious concern.
“She tries her best not to react to the fact that he’s known as a player amongst his friends, but of course it does get to her,” the insider says.
While Kylie, 27, can usually be seen on the Marty Supreme star’s arm, as evidenced by her appearance at the A Complete Unknown Golden Globes after party, the insider says, “She knows that anytime she’s not right by his side, there are women throwing themselves at him.”
The relationship between the youngest Kardashian – or Jenner, rather – and the Call Me By Your Name actor, 29, shocked many after news of their romance broke in 2023. Since then, they’ve been spotted hanging out at each other’s houses and Kylie in particular has been publicly supportive of her beau’s career, especially as he nabs up nominations left and right.
Recently, the French-American star was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the Bob Dylan biopic, but his A-list status isn’t necessarily all peaches and cream to girlfriend Kylie, according to the source, who says, “It’s extra tough because he’s this huge movie star so it’s not just average women that he’s crossing paths with,” adding, “he’s surrounded by gorgeous actresses and models.” Even for someone as wealthy, famous and beautiful as Kylie, “it’s impossible not to feel threatened.”
A different source previously dished that Timothée was like a “kid in a candy store” considering his newfound mega-fame. “There’s a double-edged sword to his extreme jump in popularity over the past year,” said that source. “It’s put him in a bubble, bloated his entourage, and robbed him of his last bits of anonymity. But it also means that women do not say no to him, ever, and are totally open to no-strings-attached brief encounters. Temptation is everywhere.”
Obviously, Kylie herself has men lining up, “but she wouldn’t think of cheating on Timothée,” that insider said. “Even though she didn’t want to label their relationship, she thought he was The One. Little did she know he’s a raging player. Women are definitely his vice.”
With the internet ablaze with rumors of the actor’s womanizing – past or present – the first source says his girlfriend is finding it difficult to deal with the stress. “Kylie’s been coping with it by giving him strict rules, when they’re apart he has to check in with her and she’s even got him sharing his location so that she can keep track of where is.”
“Obviously, that’s not fool proof because he could easily leave his phone at home if he wanted to sneak around but it does give her some peace of mind. Still she’s living in a state of anxiety most of the time because she’s so worried about losing him.”
