Lea Michele Reveals She’s Finally in a “Happy Place” Following Cory Monteith’s Death
Three years after the sudden death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, Glee alum Lea Michele reveals she’s finally found peace.
“I got back to the place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world,” she tells OK! magazine. “Getting to the other side takes a lot of work. It’s a struggle. When you do there is happiness there.”

The duo had been dating for almost two years when Cory accidentally overdosed in a Canadian hotel room at the age of 31.

On the anniversary of his death in July, Lea wrote, “We may not have gotten to share a lifetime together.. But the memories.. they’re the best of my life.. Love you Cory.”
