Leah James And Brandon Jenner Announce Split After ‘Fourteen Beautiful Years Together’
Say it ain’t so! Sadly, on Sept. 10, Leah James Jenner took to Instagram to announce that she and her longtime husband, Brandon Jenner, are getting a divorce. The former KUWTK stars have been together since 2004 and married since 2012. They share one daughter, Eva James Jenner, who is now three years old.
“Hi everybody,” Leah began her heartfelt message. “It is with love in our hearts that we feel it’s time to share some personal news with you all,” the 35-year-old continued. “After celebrating fourteen beautiful years together, we have lovingly come to the decision to end the romantic aspect of our relationship. We are deeply proud of the life we’ve cultivated together and are truly grateful for the bond of friendship we hold and cherish today.”
She added that as a couple, their relationship “is stronger than ever,” and that despite going their separate ways they “still love one another very, very much and remain a major part of each other’s lives — as best friends, family, and loving parents.”
Leah also clarified that the pair ended things amicably. “There has been no lying, or cheating, or fighting that prompted this change, just an expansion of our individual evolution which has inspired us to support each other in a new way,” the mother-of-one explained.
Leah concluded: “Here we openly share our truth with you all and, respectfully, we won’t be commenting further so anything that might state the contrary to this message would, undoubtedly, be a fabrication.” How incredibly mature of them! Based on that announcement, it seems that Brandon and Leah will have no problem co-parenting their beautiful daughter.
Even if many fans were devastated by the news, the general consensus was they handled it perfectly. “Much respect to you both,” one user commented. “I wish happiness and peace for both of you! I know that you guys will make the best choice for yourselves and daughter,” added another.
