Leonardo DiCaprio Walks the 2020 Golden Globes Red Carpet Without GF Camila Morrone
Looking sharp! Leonardo DiCaprio walked the red carpet solo at the 2020 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5. The critically acclaimed actor was suavely dressed in a black suit for the star-studded award show at the Beverly Hilton.
This is a big night for the star, 45, who is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor for a Motion Picture for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Leo did an amazing job in the film, and he said the experience was made easier thanks to Brad Pitt, who was his costar.
“What was very interesting about working with Brad was this strange inherent comfort and ease that we really both clicked into day one,” he told Deadline in December 2019. “It didn’t need a lot of prep work. We talked about the script, and we instinctively knew that dynamic and relationship, and who these guys were to one another. We both have been in those situations and have had and have those relationships on set. Also, these two guys go off and spiral off into their own side stories, and then they reconnect.”
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood wasn’t the first movie these two worked on together, which helped things run smoother for them. Leo continued, “But with Brad, he’s an incredible professional. There was a lot of improvising between us, and neither of us had this sense … I don’t want to speak for him but I will because I know it will be the same answer. There was no, ‘I’m going to try to top you, or I’m going to piss all over this parade.’ It was, ‘how do we make this a realistic dynamic’ because we were going off and doing our own side stories.”
Leo appeared to be doing his own thing this evening, however it looks like he and his girlfriend Camila Morrone, 22, are still going strong these days. The couple has been dating for nearly two years, and they show no signs of slowing down.
Though they keep their relationship low-key, a source exclusively told Life & Style that the pair is serious about each other. “Camila has turned Leo into a committed man,” the insider divulged in December 2018. “Despite the 23-year age gap, the two of them are on the same page and have so much in common. Camila is mature beyond her years, and the way they see it, age is just a number.”
2020 is off to a great start for Leo!
