Congrats! Malika Haqq Reveals She’s Pregnant With Her First Child: ‘I Couldn’t Be More Grateful’

How exciting! Malika Haqq took to Instagram on Friday, September 27, to announce that she’s expecting her first child. “I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant!” the 36-year-old captioned a photo holding a pregnancy test. “I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.” The brunette beauty concluded the post by revealing that her baby will be arriving sometime in 2020.

In June, Khloé Kardashian’s bestie revealed she is single, which meant she had split from O.T. Genasis. Since then, she hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone. Chances are, Malika may have met someone else after and kept it super low-key or she may have decided to use a sperm donor. Regardless, we couldn’t be happier for her, and her longtime bestie feels the same way.

“Congratulations Mika May!!!!!” Khloé commented on Malika’s post. “I am so beyond overwhelmed with love and happiness!!!! God is GREAT!!!! We are all so blessed!!!! I love you and baby madly.” Aw, how sweet!

These two are certainly friendship goals. When Khloé was pregnant with True Thompson, Malika was there for her every step of the way — including when she found out Tristan Thompson cheated for the first time. News of the cheating scandal broke in April 2018 — right before Koko welcomed her daughter into the world — and a month later, Malika seemingly broke her silence on the topic. She shared this quote on Instagram: “No regrets in life, just lessons learned.” In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Most importantly, forgive yourself.” What a good friend!

When news of the second cheating scandal broke in February 2019 — this time involving former Kar-Jenner family friend Jordyn Woods — Malika had Khloé’s back once again and defended her from haters. “I’ve been wrong before and I’ll be wrong again but I damn sure wouldn’t make excuses (alcohol) in an interview to gain self-pity and save face,” she said in reference to Jordyn’s Red Table talk interview. She added, “No one in my life would condone that coward like behavior.”
