‘This Is Us’ Star Mandy Moore Is Ready for a Wedding AND a Baby in 2018 (EXCLUSIVE)
Everything is coming together for Mandy Moore. The This Is Us recently got engaged to fiancé Taylor Goldsmith — and now she’s ready to start a family with the rocker.
Sources reveal to Life & Style that Mandy, 33, can’t wait to be a mom, but she has a wedding to plan first. “Mandy says 2018 will be a very special year for them — a wedding and a baby, in that order, are in the works,” a source reveals. The actress, who was previously married to singer Ryan Adams, is already planning her nuptials.
Mandy wants a traditional ceremony outdoors in California — and of course, the Pearsons are invited. “She’s so excited about marrying Taylor,” the insider says. “Her castmates from This Is Us will be there, and so will Taylor’s [Dawes] bandmates and musician friends.” And promptly after exchanging vows, the couple will start trying for a baby.
“They’re currently remodeling their home in LA and there’s already a room designated as the future nursery,” the source adds. “They don’t want to waste any time getting their life as a married couple started.”
It’s no surprise that Mandy is full-steam ahead when it comes to starting a family. She recently admitted her role as Rebecca Pearson on the NBC drama gave her baby fever. “I always wanted to be a mom,” she said on the Today Show. “I think I was waiting for the right person and the right time, for that to sort of coincide, and I think [motherhood is] definitely the next chapter for me sooner rather than later.”
She’s also ready to hide her bump for the cameras. “Gotta figure it out with the show, and how I can kind of time it out correctly, but, yeah, I’m excited,” she explained. “They can alter my body, I can hold a lot of bags or, like, shopping baskets in front of me.” We can’t wait!
