Imagine spending time with your ex … in a winter wonderland? Well, that’s the concept for Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love, which premieres on Thursday, December 5 on MTV. This time, the show “brings 10 international celeb-reality singles to the mountains of Queenstown, New Zealand, as they search for their true love, only to be unexpectedly confronted by their past relationships,” the press release reads.

Now, the contestants — many of whom starred on previous reality shows like The Bachelorette and American Idol — will have to live with their ex (and in some cases exes) as they try to form new relationships and survive old ones. As we know from past seasons, things can get seriously messy. But one alum of the show put it best: “Welcome to hell,” snarked Are You The One star Devin Walker in the sneak peek clip. So, will people find love? Go home? Get back with an ex? Well, it sounds like we’re certainly in for a ~bumpy~ ride. An added bonus: Romeo Miller is back as the host, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for the viewers.
