Melania Trump’s Wax Figure Has Officially Been Unveiled and It Can Talk!
In light of Melania Trump‘s 48th birthday, Madame Tussauds in NYC launched a special wax figure in her honor — and fans on Twitter had some pretty strong feelings about it. “IT LOOKS JUST AS FAKE AS MELANIA!!! OR MAYBE SHE IS A BIT [MORE] FAKE IN REAL LIFE,” one person wrote. Another said, “Trump looks worse than his wax figure, and Melania looks better than her wax figure.” Watch the video to see what wax Melania looks like!
One person who was really excited about Melania’s statue, was none other than former Press Secretary, Sean Spicer. “We’re opening this thing as a tribute to the first lady and the first lady’s done such a fantastic job of showcasing our country,” he told Fox Business. “And I thought, what a fine tribute to such a great woman who is doing such phenomenal work on behalf of our country.”
But, don’t be fooled, Melania’s wax figure isn’t just a regular wax statue like all of the others. The museum announced on Instagram that they want to give wax Melania a voice, which is ironic, considering her marital status.
Regardless, Madame Tussauds promised to launch a limited time, interactive experience where fans can tweet using the hashtag #MTMelaniaMoments for a chance to have their tweet spoken by the wax FLOTUS. The museum shared a photo of the figure along with their, “Give Melania a Voice,” campaign. “Our ALL NEW temporary experience is finally here! IT’S TIME TO GIVE MELANIA A VOICE! And the suggestions are already rolling in on Instagram. “Get me out of here!” one person wrote in the comments section. Another said, “Save me.” The experience runs until the end of May, so get tweeting!
