The “Tammy” actress, 44, stepped out over the weekend and debuted her noticeably slimmed-down body.
Rocking a multi-print jacket and black pants with matching Converse sneakers, the mother-of-two beamed as she showed off her new look at an arts event in Santa Monica, Calif., on Nov. 16.

Several reports claim the “Bridesmaids” star has shed between 45 and 50 pounds, and that her weight loss stems from a healthy diet and exercise.
“She has been on a high protein, low carb diet,” one insider claims. “Melissa knows that fans love her big and beautiful, and she’s not obsessed with dieting. She’s looking for a happy medium.”

And it wasn’t pressure from Hollywood that made the “Gilmore Girls” alum decide to live a healthier lifestyle.
“Melissa realized she wasn’t being as healthy as she could be,” the source told Star. “She wants to set a good example for her kids and she wants to be around to become a grandmother too.”
Back in June, the beauty — who’s married to actor Ben Falcone — opened up about body image.

“I’ve never felt like I needed to change. I’ve always thought, ‘If you want somebody different, pick somebody else,'” she tells People. “But sure, criticism can sometimes still get to me. Some things are so malicious, they knock the wind out of you.”
