A baby is not on the way for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, according to the “Wrecking Ball” singer. After reports surfaced that the songstress was expecting her first child, she decided to put an end the conversation with a little help from the now famous egg meme. This is why we love you, Miley.

“I’m not ‘Egg-xpecting’ but it’s ‘Egg-cellent’ to hear everyone is so ‘Happy For Us’…We’re happy for us too!” the 26-year-old singer wrote in response to a pregnancy article on Twitter. “‘Egg-cited’ for this next chapter in our lives…Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg?”

She accompanied the post with a photo of herself in a bright green and blue patterned shirt, short shorts, and white sunnies. The Happy Hippie Foundation founder hilariously photoshopped a brown egg over her stomach that had her mouth and tongue plastered in the middle. Do you get the yolk?

Miley and her new hubby, 29, tied the knot during a secret ceremony on Dec. 23 after 10 years together. It sounds like they’re enjoying their time as newlyweds and won’t be expanding their family anytime soon (well, not this week, at least).

Fans flocked to support the singer and her amusing response. “You’re the best,” one person gushed while someone else added, “Queen of shutting down rumors.”

Babies are cute and everything, but people are really dying to know if Miley has any new music on the horizon. One fan begged, “Drop your single sis it’s getting dry out here.” Another user shifted the pregnancy talk in a more constructive direction and said, “I think we’re ALL expecting the birth of [your] new album.” Although she didn’t respond to the music questions, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.

The blonde beauty was obviously living for the egg mania and posted a different meme of herself featuring the egg on Jan. 15. In the photo, the singer can be seen wearing a dreamy yellow dress with pink hair and chillin’ in front of a giant egg. She tweeted, “Nothing Breaks Like an EGG!” because she’s everything we aspire to be.
