First married birthday in the books, y’all! Miley Cyrus took to social media on January 13 to celebrate her new hubby, Liam Hemsworth, for his 29th birthday, and we gotta say, these two really are a match made in Heaven. The 26-year-old singer made a few posts for her husband and each one was sweeter than the last.
“HBD @liamhemsworth ❤️,” Miley captioned a video of the couple featuring Liam dancing hilariously. You know, just shakin’ off that birthday spirit.
Her second post got a little more personal, where she shared an emotional love note for Liam. “L, HBD to my #1… when we met, you were 19. Today, you are 29,” she began. “I thought I could share some of my favorite things about my favorite dude in honor of this very special day.”
PS: If you were trying to not cry today… you’re in for some bad news, because this post is a tear-jerker. “The way you look at me… the way you look at your family, your friends, at strangers, at life,” Miley wrote. “I love your dirty socks on the floor because that means YOU’RE HOME… I even love when you shrink my t-shirt in the dryer because having a boyfriend (oh em gee [sic] I almost forgot you’re my friggen [sic] husband now) that does laundry is pretty much the best thing ever.”
“I’m proud of the person you’ve become and look forward to all the good we will contribute together in the future,” she closed out her epic love letter. “You and me, baby… let’s take this dark place head on and shine through with the light of LOVE. Thank you for giving me the happiest days of my life. Yours truly, M.” We’re not crying, you’re crying, OK?!
Following the sweet note, Miley then posted a total throwback pic of her and LiamfromJuly 13, 2009, which could very well be one of the first times they met.
